At the end of 2002, Brazilian President Lula offered Gilberto Gil the position of Minister of Culture. The singer accepted on one condition: he would keep working as a musician on weekends.

Since he took on his position on January 2, 2003, Gil has kept two agendas.

For this documentary, a crew shadowed him during a two week period.
